They did a full inspection of my roof to put my mind at ease and fortunately I only needed a few minor repairs. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my (probably silly) questions and told me my roof was in a great condition (for its age) despite minor repairs. "My downpipe was spraying out water through a seam, during heavy rainfall. I phoned David Campbell and he arranged to come out first thing the following day. The downpipe was blocked with mud and gunk and even a golf ball!! which was causing water to back up and not drain away. After an hour of cleaning it all out (up a ladder) and plunging the mud at the bottom, it cleared. (He thought I may have needed to call out Dyno-Rod, just as the mud flushed away). "I called Davie this morning after finding his number here on Trustys. We were experiencing water ingress through the ceiling and I believed the roof directly above was at fault (part of our ground floor has a roof). Davie and crew were on site within 15 minutes and identified 2 broken roof tiles which they believed to be the cause. They left to get the tiles and came back within 20 minutes and immediately started work. All said and done within an hour of my initial call and turns out there were actually 3 broken tiles, all replaced for £90. Very fortunate timing as I imagine this time of year with stormy weather a lot of people will be waiting longer for a similar service. These guys went the extra mile and didn't mess about."

"I contacted D Campbell Roofers and spoke to David on the phone. I explained I required some roof repairs and would like a quote. David made an appointment to come out on the Sunday even though he was going away on holiday on the Monday. He arrived on time along with Paul and after going over what was required he gave me a good quote for the work, which included replacing tiles, cleaning gutters, checking downpipes, fitting some new gutter clamps and securing the ridge tiles. He arranged for the work to be done in about a weeks time and we all agreed that was ok. I had some reservations about a couple of tiles which were balanced in the gutter and we parted company with me accepting his quote. It was a surprise on the Monday when Paul and David's son turned up early in the morning to carry out the work. They were able to do this as they had some spare time on another job they were working on and Paul was aware of my concerns about the loose tiles. Paul and David's son completed all of the work to a high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any roofing problems anyone might have. I would certainly use them again in the future and I thank Paul and David's son for their concern and turning up early to complete the work as the weather was to get worse during the week.
